After chicken


I don’t often get paid with sausage but it’s a pretty good currency as far as I’m concerned.


My friends that raised the chickens also raise lambs.  Last time they sent some off to the butcher, they had some of the meat turned into sausages. Mild Italian-style lamb sausage. They gifted me some in thanks for helping with the chickens.


I turned it into a home grown meal with beets carrots cucumber and tomatoes from my garden and potatoes from a friend. 


Farm to table.
