Brr. It’s 11 degrees this morning (Jim says it’s 10 with the wind chill, lol). A beautiful sunny day though and a great day for dyeing and spinning!
I opted for breakfast in town today and apparently the Kozy Korner is the place to go in Haliburton – despite their lack of spell check.
It’s a good place. Full of all the activity i expected. Big tables of local men telling stories and solving the world’s problems.
Tables of tourists and cottagers getting ready for the day and lightning fast service. The food was good enough and overall it didnt disappoint – its no Garth’s though.
Today we will use food colour to dye the yarn we spun and plied yesterday. And if all goes well I’ll buy myself a very special early birthday present. Details later.
