Friday dinner

I suspect ramps will be on the menu for a while yet. Tonight appearing as a pesto-like sauce on a green veg stirfry with poached eggs on top.

The market was amazing! So good to get caught up with my farmer friends and to meet a few new ones. Beets and kale from David’s greenhouse and onions from storage. ‘Valiant’ grape jelly from Jon. Corn relish from Jerry and a yellow vegetable relish from some new vendors that live on Griffith Wagner Road.  Work kept me from getting there early enough for some of David’s asparagus. Hopefully next week.

I rototilled the garden after work and will plant it up over the weekend. What a great time of year.
